A wonderful location to stay! The staff were superb and super efficient. the hotel itself was clean as were the rooms, but the management needs to relook at their bedding.......all clean but stains on most of the sheets and towels......towels were white and very very thin so stains are very very visible. the sheets were a beigey colour, not particulary fresh looking and with stains even less inviting! Pillows were all lumpy as if you had put them through a washing machine by mistake.....those were changed promptly.....as mentioned the staff were super efficient!! The buffet food was good but not a spec on the restaurant off the main dining area......this was paid for as an extra on several occasions and was truely excellent quality!! the chocolate fondant to die for!! probably would not choose to stay there again as plenty of other hotels to choose from and this one seemed to cater for busloads of tourists!! check out had to be prompt at 1200 as full capacity at the hotel......requested for tea/drinks at waiting area in reception but not possible unless we sat in the restaurant area or went down to the pool bar! wifi also only available in reception area and not in rooms! The best thing about the hotel were the fabulous gardens, the fabulous views and location to the shops.....most of all the excellent staff! the edge of comfort is missing!
