The best recommended restaurants are Mer De Chine and Ocean Restaurant serving superb seafood and Chinese cuisine, Moti Mahal for all your Indian delights, Sea Breeze for all your local seafood meals. There are takeaway services available if you prefer to remain on the beach or eat in the comfort of Villa Paradis.

Pamplemousses garden is the jewel of the crown, where you can discover countless species of indigenous and exotic plants, including the well known giant Victorial Regia water lilies and the talipot palm, which only flowers every sixty years and then dies. The island offers travelers plenty of great outdoor activities, including skiing, windsurfing, canoeing, hiking, visiting the Vanilla Crocodile and Tortoise Park, exploring the magnificent waterfalls and discovering the 200 species of indigenous fish, invertebrates, corals and sponges at the aquarium.
